RNA datasets often reach a research team as counts, abundance estimates or processed expression tables without a clear path from the biological question to a defensible analysis.

Academic laboratories, research institutes and biotechnology teams with a defined research question, documented study design and data they are authorised to share for analysis.

What ASR does
Scope the research question, contrasts, samples, covariates and available data; review file structure and metadata completeness; agreed quality assessment and exploratory analysis; agreed statistical workflow; results tables, selected visualisations and an interpretation meeting; analysis code/environment information and a technical report. Exclusions: No clinical diagnosis, patient-level decision support, regulatory submission, wet-lab validation, guaranteed biological discovery, or receipt of data through the public enquiry form.

Count matrices or agreed abundance/expression tables; sample metadata; study design; organism and reference details; research question; prior processing documentation. Raw-read processing is not included unless explicitly scoped.
